Man vs. Food - blueberries?

"Misty" and "Sharpblue" are two low chill varieties which should do well around here.

I asked the farmer across from me about planting blueberries and he said "the birds like them". I guess all the folks that have tried to grow them commercially have had better luck feeding the birds than harvesting the berries.
