That is a horrible thing to happen! No neighbors around her house? It is so sad how low some scumbags will go. We will keep a look out for the dog, but it would be great to have a description which could also be sent in to vets offices (breed, markings, photo). If the dog was valuable or came here from the mainland, it probably also has a microchip, which she can register with the PD and Vets. Of course if the thieves sell the dog and then some unsuspecting person takes her to the vet, it will be a doubly sad tale. If we knew the breed we could all be on the look out for a puppy for sale on Craig's List, newspapers and on the side of the road. Let's see, Nicky... blue collar? We don't even know the sex of this puppy! That would be helpful too.
