Kathy, these thieves are not stupid, they chose their targets well and probably staked it out too. I'm sure some are pros too. I have had my water pump stolen from two vacant houses and by the way they were stolen we could tell those were not random vandals but most likely plumbers or contractors. I also had construction material stolen from three sites, all three times they cut a trail through the lot behind mine. These kind of things clearly indicate pros.
I also had somebody brake into one of my new houses even though they could clearly see there was NOTHING inside. It cost me a new door. That was just pure vandalism.
