Folks, I do not think that the number of weapons is a single factor in gun deaths either accident or homicide.
I tend to think it is a complex function of the number of firearms, type of firearms, social safety net, education and job opportunities and presence of violent gangs and drug enterprises.
Hawaii is a generally more peaceful society with several degrees less desperation. I hope it stays that way.
