That's exactly the reason why I keep that card too. When I visited Japan, Taiwan and Bali in May I called them before I left to give them all the details, what countries I will visit, etc. Three days before I left I got a note from them saying they reduced my credit limit from $30,000 to $2,500! I called them right away to protest since my credit score is over 800 and I never missed a payment, but they didn't care. Needless to say, the $2,500 credit limit wasn't enough for my trip, so here is my vendetta. I charge a few cents every month and they have to send me a statement for a few cents balance every month!
