I do not know if this is true or not but there is at least another scam artist right now around Puna plying on people who feel desperate in times of disasters.

I wont go into here but if you know of a landlord in Ainaloa who was left holding a $6000 bag please have them email me - especially if they posted on another mainland forum called Fauna Classified about this tenant.

This same person is trying to scare people to move and then wants to use their house as their "command center". Command for what? CD isnt using them, NG isnt using them, etc.

I dont worry about you fellow PW'ers cuz you all seem akamai but older people and others who are desperate... beware.

Professed to be doing many things with HI United way for Iselle disaster. But they never heard of them.

Seems like new topics like "scam" or "fraud" alert needs to be opened.
Perhaps even a "resources" page/topic as well?

Sad, but scams do take place in times of true need.
