For 65+ folks on island looking to be vaccinated without success so far I would be OK with them "gaming the system" if necessary. The Hawaii rollout has not been impressive, I don't believe it's appropriately serving the elderly population.

@Durian Fiend: I can't argue with your premise that the vaccine rollout has not been handled well, especially in regard to the numbers of very low risk public employees and others who made it into the "essential" category. There was even a very good political cartoon in Sunday's Hilo newspaper on the subject. I helped some folks with comorbidities get on the 65-75 waiting list at HMC, and I'm more upset with the delays than they are. One of them even said, "I've lived here all my life. I expected this." And so it goes in Hawaii.
