You know we were very lucky to have such a level lot so it has saved us I'm sure. But we think what was saved here will catch up to us down the line know what I mean! I think it all tends to come out even in the end. I'm just so happy that we have some progress, it was so sweet so far! So I must prepare myself for some disapointment as there will more than likely be something down the line ;>). Thanks you all for sharing this small excitement with us. EdenRocker, Mella L!

Hi Dave. Those mid-year C-2 'Vettes are schweet! SmileSmileSmile We love our plastic car, but performance wise the thing's a slug. Cali requires semiannual emission checks on all vehicles newer than the 1973 model year, and the car has to be equipped basically like it came from the factory - including all the smog controls. So until we get it moved out of state I'm stuck with the wuss a$$ed 185hp motor. Sad

aloha,
Gene (mella's boy toy)

Hey Gene don't hang your head to low, you know how many folks out there only dream of what you have? Definately schweet too!! I can relate though to what you're dismayed about especially with the tailpipe test. Lost my shirt in 95 when Maine adopted an IM-240 program. Thought I'd be a big shot and go up against a state contractor. Invested big bucks in my own 3 bay dyno test lane.. Then, as luck would have it the State Repealed the law and everyone envolved had to disappear :^( ouch, left a great job for that venture oh well We're still going to live in Hawaii Oh Yeah!

Hey Mella perhaps when you guys start building you and Gene could title your thread " Little House on the Lava " Smile))lol being your new pioneers going westward in a covered RV !!!!!!WHAHA HA HA

I guess as long as I'm cluttering up your thread I have a cute little pun for yer all.
A three legged dog goes into a saloon hops up to the bar and says "I'm alooking for for the man who shot my paw." :0
