Where is the Ball buster, Pohaku?
#11
I too like both "P"s .... I have thought about this often.

Him getting kicked off ... Sadly it still all comes down to one persons opinion .... Eh Rob , how 'bout a vote just for fun.

Everyone is different, variety is the spice of life etc. This guy added immensely to the flava' of PunaWeb IMO. A dose of reality is good for people and while some stuff got me going, I can still love the guy for his from the heart, passionate, breath .... of fresh air.

Come on Rob ... strong winds don't blow all day.

If anyone has his phone number please let me know as I want to go down, buy him lunch and learn about this area while getting yelled at.
Same offer to you to Rob.

aloha,
pog

Greg, I'm curious as to how long you have lived here in the islands? The majority of these youger people have halled their families from which ever island they lived on to here because of the promise of lifetime welfare! They leave their beautiful pristine islands to come here for what they think will amount a lifetime of breast feeding off Uncle Sam's tit!
If you go to Honolulu, you'll find that TB is on the rise there. My sister works at Queens hospital, and said that 95% 0f all TB cases are these"mud suckers". My aunt's neighbor's six year old daughter was molested in Kalihi by an sweetheart of a Micronesian man. He sat on his porch all day watching the kids play drinking his beer. Always passing out candy to the kids winning their trust...then blam! That pile of Dung should have had his pointed little head put in a "C" clap and cranked to blood shot out like a hose spraying water!! I lived several doors down from a family 8 years back. The mom was young, had four kids already, and was working full -time at 7-11 on Ala Moana blvd. The father was unemployed, watched the kids all day with his mother and drank beer all day too. When the wife would return from work...then is when the action would start up. Dude would be drunk and would constantly beat her up. Finally, enough was enough, all that negative noise was taken a toll on both my older son who was two back then. The violence was so loud I had to do something! Next morning when I saw the drunken father on his porch...I pounced...I quickly put both hold around his neck and almost squeezed the life out of the A-hole. Guess what? He never laid a finger on his wife again while I livedat same building!

Beachboy, you have many valid opinions, and can believe whatever you want. I know some micronesians that fit your mold. I also know some micronesians that are wonderful individuals.

I have yet to find one of these people worth their weight in the age range from 18 to 35 yrs. of age. Perhaps older wiser ones might be okay. Why just yesterday while waiting to pick up my wife from the Hele-on Bus coming in from Waikaloa I watched in dismay as several of these guys were drinking beer, and urinating in the parking lot on somebody elses car!. My wife told me one day while cathcing the bus back to Hilo a couple decided to get hot and heavy right there. Dude decided he thought it was cool to finger his lady on the bus! My wife said the back of bus quickly began to reek of ass & fish! My wife said the worst part of it was the grunting coming from the female. The thought alone will give me nightmares.
Greg, you show me one good one and I'll find you 50 worthless ones!

Again Greg, how long have you lived here? Can you actually tell the difference between a Micronesian, a polynesian, and Indonesian? Often tourist mistakenly ID "Microdots", as Hawaiians, hence part of the reason hatred Hawaiians have for these people is equal to mine or greater.

I'll reframe from commenting on that with regard to this so-called race of people.

In closing, this race of people have no respect for the Aina whatsoever. Everywhere they stop they think it's their God given right to leave their opala, whether it be beverage cans, dirty diapers,etc,etc....and that constant spitting is just gross at best!

yeah, you're right Carrie all this negative talk about Micronesians. I simply forgot that people like the King of Bhutan, and the Sultan of Brunei are constantly lerking on the Punaweb hoping to be enlightened here from deep positive discussions like about "Dog the Bounty Hunter Show",etc,etc..![8]

open your eyes Carrie, this is not a perfect world we live in! People **** on people on a daily basis, but that doesn't mean you should sit back and take it when it happens to you!

Beachboy,
I can understand some of your feelings and frustrations with Micronesians. Keep in mind that it is primarily those from the state of Chuuk that are the issue and not as much so those from the other states. I would agree that allowing unrestricted emigration from Micronesia is probably not in the best interest of the U.S. Please also understand that there are good Micronesians, including Chuukese, in the U.S. with a large percentage in Hawaii. You don’t notice the good ones as they don’t stand out. Most of their leaders and educators come here to receive their education. They are good people and hope to improve their country. I do know some. I might also suggest that you might get your ideas across more effectively if your language wasn’t so intentionally outrageous. I may be incorrect, but I get the impression that you are purposely challenging the moderator. What would be the purpose?

Beachboy, I don't know where to begin. I can't believe you even defend an attitude that condemns an entire race as worthless.

"The people of Micronesia, in particular, and Oceania in general, would have little reason to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the detonation of the world's first thermonuclear device, code-named "Mike", on Enewetak atoll in the Marshall Islands, in November, 1952."- from the Janes oceana website.

There were over sixty atomic bombs detonated in Micronesia and Polenesia since. The lingering health problems, economic effects, and social consequences are staggering. A once proud and self reliant culture is now held hostage to a wasteful, consummer driven lifestyle that their parents never knew.

So while they foolishly discard plastic wrapping that their culture never appreciated or understood; while they remain prisoners of a welfare system their culture never needed; while they struggle to understand WTF is going on; We nuked the BeJesus out of their homeland. Fair enough?

As far as how long I've lived here; I've always felt it just doesn't matter. It's the quality of a persons time here thats important, not the quantity.

Introduce yourself to Ama if you get a chance. He and his wife are involved with cultural programs at the Kua O Ka La charter school in Kapoho. I promise he won't eat you as stereotyping would have you believe. (They work voluntarily, and don't collect welfare)

Aloha, Greg

By the way, if this web site/blogger sight did have a 'vote' mine would be for all peoples voices to be heard. Freedom of speech and the sharing of information are defined not only in the constitution but also grant us to theright to express ourselves freedom of speech no matter who it insults or irritates- as long as it doesn't become violent or life threatrning.. Ok, back to the topic, which will be my last post in this thread. I think the moderator was amazingly tolerant during that situation. The impression I got at the time was that pp actually wanted to get booted, and the moderator only reluctantly complied. I agree that pp had some good input. I respect the moderators decisions and agree with his management style,........ except when that buggah deleted my posts Wink
