Thanks for the pointers Jerry, the truth is I challenged the assessment and they agreed with me lowering the value to the amount I indicated. I have all the possible exemptions. I will go to the tax office to pay in person and find out the story.

UPDATE! I went to the tax office today and I was told even though my appeal was approved I still have to pay the first payment as billed, but my account will be reconciled by the time the next payment is due in February. I guess the county really needs money![Smile][Smile][Smile]
