O o'e, pog! Aloha Kalikimaka! Staying in the positive, given life's challenges.

Mahalo for being you, and I do giggle on occasion as I read your delightful posts. Merry Christmas!

Going back to wrap more SPAM, Vienna Sausage, etc., for presents for the keiki and mo'opuna. (lol; they have no idea..."war food", as it were". [Big Grin])

(*These kids are looking like WTH is that (link above, and more)? LMAO! Mahalo for the egg nog, children. [Smile])

Aloha, pog, may Akua bless you... always.

Kinda like our manapua, Sir...[Big Grin] Daddy was an English/Irishman mixed with kanaka maoli. Our Granny (not our "Tutu" on the maternal side, but Daddy's "Mum"), would ROCK these!

(*Snipped - of course, pic at link)

http://britishfood.about.com/od/england/a/pasty.htm

The Cornish pasty is known and loved throughout Great Britain and Ireland and fierce arguments abound as to the origins of Cornish Pasties with neighboring Devon also laying claim to the origins of the pasty. Whatever the origins, a Cornish Pasty Recipe is so easy and fairly quick to make

It is generally believed that the pasty evolved for Cornish tin miners, who, unable to return to the surface at lunchtime had a hearty, easy to hold and eat, lunch dish.

May the blessings of the season continue to follow you in your travels, and all of us, as we welcome the new year.

Aloha ke Akua. Aloha kekahi I kekahi.(Love one another).

Rest well all, Merry Christmas!

P.S. The kids are falling asleep under the tree to this: (Anne Murray, Silver Bells...[Big Grin] lol)

When I found out that they sold haggis and cheeseburgers in a can, I thought anything was possible.
