Snoring story
#21
I doctor wouldn't prescribe a cpap without having a sleep study performed.
I checked around and found that all the sleep clinics in Houston were freeking crooks.

Get this they charge 2400 bucks for the study. I called one back and asked what there best cash price is, and she called me back and said they'd do it for 500.00.

I just bought a used unit for 400.00 w/mask & humidifier and treated myself.
I read a bunch of support group blogs and learned a lot. One common thing is that they will often give you a pressure setting that is just wrong and people wont/cant use it is the pressure is wrong.

It is one of those things where you have to quit trying and tweaking things till you get it right.
Just sleeping with a mask is hard to get used to, but after 30 days or so if get better.

Depending on how your husbamds throat works, he may even benifit from a mandibular advancement device like Wyatt uses.

don't give up.
