Update: The ofc girl's last day was today by her own choice. She wasn't employed very long. Heard she had good credentials to begin with so it's our loss. Best of luck to her.
The road crew supv was fired this week.
The HRC is being kept pretty busy...

Why on earth don't you move this airing of dirty laundry to a private site ?
You could move this on-going soap opera to any number of free groups or chat rooms. Why are you hell bent on destroying your subdivision ?
If you are so concerned, why don't you volunteer your time to better your community ?

Precisely, Katarina. The running of a non profit corp. especially of this magnitude, requires experienced leadership.... board members who understand the necessity of following law, where to find answers in helping them solve situations that they can not solve on their own. It's a different "mindset" from simple volunteerism.
I hired and fired for over 25 years....always following the laws and doing my best to diffuse the negative emotions that conceivably come with letting someone go. I never relied on my past experience or gut instinct alone. Our corp. subscribed to several Corp. support groups and we were always on a learning curve. Even with my background , I would consider myself inept to properly serve on an HR committee without professional guidance as laws change continuously.
It's nuts guys.......it can never work with ignorant volunteers only. This IS a business..and will only work when it is run like the NON PROFIT CORP. that it is designed to be.

Obie, please take your ranting somewhere else as was suggested the last time you came on this thread criticizing HPP members. You said you don't own in HPP.

Understood Rob.
Obie, you said you live in Kapoho and read this soap opera thread for entertainment and criticize our posts.... Why this level of animosity if you don't own property here? What's your issue?

I get it. You can't tell people to leave this very public thread, so now you resort to asking them to justify why they post on this very public thread. The answer, of course, is they can.
Once again, if you don't want people who you consider unworthy to post in this thread to stop commenting, then use a private forum or mailing list.

Excuse me for trying to make sense out of a nonsensical situation..why someone would keep coming to a thread that evidently annoys the heck out of them and attack people who post here.
Why this level of animosity if this person has no investment here? Otherwise it just seems like bullying.
TomK, you are reading more into this than there is...
