Whatever you need to do Rob, and yeah I hear you, but would point out that it is Tom that persists in attacking... but he lays the golden eggs hereabout, eh?

Toms arguments are reasonable. It is an unfortunate fact that reason seems actually painful and aversive to a certain faction of TMT opponents. We who support the TMT must be careful what we say. Sorta like talking a jumper off a ledge.

Without taking sides regarding the members at hand, I'd like to applaud the novel concept that rules are announced, consequences are defined, warnings are given, and disregard for the rules results in enforcement of the regulations. Rob, thanks for all you do in providing and managing Punaweb.

the novel concept that
rules are announced, consequences are defined, warnings are given, and disregard for the rules results in enforcement of the regulations. Yes, novel indeed. Effective and practical too.

It's too bad the governor of Hawaii doesn't adhere to those guiding principals.

Cool enough for its own topic, at least. Wondering what happens next for TMT, because we have: - Ige delegates to Kim - Kim has no authority - protestors say "we're not moving" - TMT says "we're still planning to build on Mauna Kea" I suggest that we can't risk the economic impact of TMT moving on -- not just because we will lose the money/jobs from TMT being built/operated, but because nobody will bother trying to invest in a place that doesn't have basic rule of law. |
