Hilo history - Fiasco's
#1
Not really history, but in another forum I'm talking to one or two ex-Big Islanders who lived here for many years and worked at the telescopes. We were talking about places we used to hang out in and one was the old Fiasco's in Hilo, almost next door to Ken's.

None of us can remember the landlord's name though. A real character, big and loud but very friendly. He would have been there from before 1996 to, I don't know, 1998 or so. Maybe a bit longer.

Anyone remember the guy's name?

Oh, just occurred to me. It was Pat. Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks, Ken, but that name doesn't ring a bell. Not saying there wasn't a John Clark there but it isn't the person I'm thinking of.

Come to think of it, I think he was one of the owners of Fiasco's.
