Too late to say anything but it would be nice if they would spend money on those streets that have major wash out problems where the pavement ends and the cinder road starts. Take my road for instance. The cinder ends right at the bottom of a small hill and the pavement slopes up to the stop sign at Maku'u. When it rains the water pools at the lowest point and tires hitting the water makes large potholes right at the leading edge of the pavement. The road crew is good about not letting it go too long before repairs but just think the money that could be saved over several years if they would only extend the pavement up hill by as little as 15-25' so the transition to pavement wouldn't under the water when it rains. OK, enough rambling from the peanut gallery!! LOL Be nice to hear the out come of the meet!

You should try living on hwy 137 going through Wa'a Wa,a. The county will not pave it because a number of people who do not even live on the road go to meetings and vote no to paving the only ingress and egress and evacuation route. Their reason is they do not want more people to move here. They do not care about safety, only their own selfish ideas. The county goes for it.
