If the old board and management was as corrupt as alleged, why hasn't a complaint been filed with the PD and an investigation initiated. Surely the PD is big enough to have a white collar crime unit with someone with at least minimal forensic accounting skills to undertake such an investigation. If the old board and management were as corrupt as has been inferred here, it is the new boards duty to seek prosecution and attempt to recover funds. Has an outside accountant even been brought in to review the books? Otherwise I can see no justification for the initial actions taken by the incoming board. Outside oversight would seem in order at this point.

Without digging any deeper I assume most of your posts are directly related to the current HPP board and I have to assume you are either a board member, a spouse of a board member, or a close friend of at least one of the new board members.
From what I can see you are a one-trick-pony and will fervently defend your (self/spouse/friend) to the end and that your point of view is extremely biased and should not be trusted by rational people.
You keep making accusations that all this mess is just June Conant and her Cabal slinging mud, but I would like to point out that I don't even know June and only saw her for the first time at a board meeting where she was suggesting we all chip in an extra $500 a year for a few years to pave all the roads quickly. For the record I spoke out publicly at that meeting against that ridiculous idea and I am definitely not a member of the so called "cabal". I am just a concerned HPPOA owner who doesn't want to pay more road fees to cover the screw ups of a reckless board.

Can anybody remember ANY HPP Board that actually did their job, followed Laws and our Bilaws and Code of Conduct, respected one another and the residents, maintained the roads, spent our money with wisdom, worked together, didn't borrow millions (in our names) for a job that never got done, get us in trouble with the Health Department and divide our community with their pretense of Managing our business? I can't and I'm looking back almost 4 decades. Our current situation is the status quo. There are no winners. The good people of HPP just keep paying our ever increasing Road Fees, get threatened with huge fines and argue with one another. Maybe we should start looking for solutions instead of pointing fingers and taking sides. Every Board has made mistakes. (this one, the last one, the one before that, on and on...) What is the solution? I hope you have answers, because I sure don't.

Democracy does not work as constituted at HPP. I go to meetings, even participating sometimes. I vote in every ballot. It does no good because of the high numbers of absentee owners and the apathy among the rest. All you people arguing in this thread just don't get it. You seem to think that if only your faction triumphed, things would be great. Well, they wouldn't because everybody in this picture has screwed up and has political blood on their hands.
As I've said before, only a judge-appointed professional management team has a chance of fixing this.
