TMT Work to Resume Says Ige!

Plus, the World Court is routinely ignored by the USA and other well-established governments. It's actually something of a joke when it comes to dealing with major powers.

I find that to be a rather simplistic, verging on false, statement. A review of the International Criminal Court as discussed here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internatio...of_Justice

and the United States relationship with the International Criminal Court specifically as discussed here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Sta...inal_Court

reveals a much more complex dynamic, and one that is far from ignored or a joke. Though in keeping with classic PW bigotry I am sure Chunkster is right.

The International Criminal Court is not the same as the International Court of Justice, as noted at the top of the page in your link. Which did you mean?

Hope a few of you can take the time to look, find, and watch this incredible video on YouTube made recently ( may 27th). Hawane Rios speaks from the heart about maunakea, tmt, and much much more. (TMT and maunakea commonground part 6). I am sorry I can not post the link myself, maybe someone else could? Wow, very moving with lots of aloha.

Every time I hear a reference to royalty, bloodline, or heirs I can't believe my ears.

Unlike the "free elections" where you can choose between a Clinton or a Bush...

2 crime families having a turf war about being able to rip-off the people.
Well, maybe with the "pivot" Hawaii will get a bunch more military spending.

Here it is:

Of note, some in the audience actually "felt threatened" at the end of her speech. She is also an entertainer, and is very young. Well spoken, she has been front and center since the groundbreaking fiasco. Her mother is Pua Case, one of the Plaintiffs in the last case pending decision.

FWIW. JMO.

Mahalo opihikao. Hawane is a strong, smart, and young woman much like yourself. She is blessed to know where she is truly from or who she really is, Many of us don't. After watching the video I could not see how she was threatening, maybe some felt a bit uncomfortable as well with the energy that was breathing in that room?. She shared many great things from beginning to end, very impressive.

gypsy,
I watched part of the video, and found it poetic.
I'm curious, which words or parts of the performance did you find very impressive?

For a little more clarity:
