And someone else said people have children in order to get benefits. Talk about questioning someone's motives, not to mention the absolutely HORRIBLE message you are sending to certain children just to spred your DRIVEL and lies.

It is true. As long as the mother has a child not in school, she can receive extra benefits for that child and a child under 2 also gets her WIC benefits in addition to the extra EBT/SNAP benefits. Another plus, as long as the child is under age 5 (I may be off a year here?) the mother has no requirement to either go to work or school to continue to receive benefits.
Plus, the more kids you have, the more money you receive (to pay for additional bedrooms)for County Housing, which can get you into one heck of a nice, big house.

Why not ....the rules on distribution of national assets would have to be created by the crown. As long as taxes equal outlays - no great shakes .... its the trillions in defense spending that queers the the current tax code in favor of Boeing, G.E et haliburton et al . (ge pays no tax) imho

BTW Social Security IS welfare....
Some Social Security payments are for people with disabilities.
Some Social Security payments are for dependent children who lost a parent, a parent who probably paid into the Social Security system and will not be collecting their payments themselves, as they are deceased.
Most Social Security is paid to retired people who paid into the system for 40 years and are getting back their own money with 3% interest. The worst possible rate of return anyone could have made over the past 40 years.
Saying Soc Sec is welfare, is like accusing someone who goes to the doctor of accepting government handouts, because some of the doctor's other patients are covered under Medicaid.

I'm still waiting for a class action suit against the government for fraud,breach of contract and misappropriation of funds with regard to Social Security.

County employees and politicians are the welfare recipients. Helco Gasco and all the foreign owned old local businesses sending TMT money to foreign countries and the military is welfare.
County and state employees like unions collect welfare after only ten years work . Who Else gets to retire with full benefits in this country after only ten years ? We paid 1/3 of our income as single gay persons . No sympathy

I am totally and completely biased, and admit it freely. Without government health care, I would have died long ago. If it were taken from me today, I would die tomorrow. My feeling is that, in some way, everyone should have access to health care when they need it, instead of trying to rip away health care that the very poor have. Being fair can be positive instead of negative. This is all I will say, and also the end of what I will read on this thread. I have a heart condition now and cannot become too upset.

In my world .... its not the radical liberal punatics frothing at the mouth ... its the 60 plus " tea party constitutional experts that pay least amount in taxes to carry the freight and have the greatest amount of expectations ....Meghan Kelley will be along later to explain it to you - grin
