I think it's part of the Make-A-Wish program.

Yeah, the one in Honolulu harbor. It is the real Gilligan's Island, seen in the opening credits. They also shot season 1 there. It would have been hilarious if they had found out in the last season that they were only a few hours off shore from Oahu the whole time.

That Coconut Island is in Kaneohe Bay, not Honolulu Harbor. The harbor at the opening of Gilligan's Island where the minow leaves for a three hour tour is Ala Wai Harbor.
