I would suggest to every member of HPP to go into the office and demand your full narrated audited financial report. The narrated is sometimes referred to as the "management letter" which is included with the audit. Be forewarned though, they won't give it to you but hand you a "Request Form" for you to fill out and pay $2 a page. Of course if you don't want copies, you could always ask to just read it.
Look at the HPP web site and you will see the last audit posted...ummm, didn't have to pay to read it! They have been posted many times in the past and in fact included with the annual members financial report given out at the Oct. membership meetings.

This is a direct quote from a previous director of the HPP board, "Of course that $2.00 a page form had a purpose when it was voted on by the board as some members wanted the office to supply them with a lot of old reports. The office however maintained a binder of all the current reports that members could look at right there at the counter and at the membership meetings copies of the most current reports were all available for members to take. Also at the October meeting copies of the annual audit was also available."

Posting financials online can't be that hard. They managed it for 2013 and 2014.

The majority board has problems w/posting minutes accurately and on time on HPP's website. They see no wrong w/a board member w/out full board authority removing whatever she wants off our website, no matter that there is history to these items. So of course posting financials will be a huge challenge for these people.
I just heard from some one on the finance committee (that is the real one) that they met this morning and went into the office to collect the financial reports including the audit.
The VP/HRC chair has removed a lot of admin duties from the GM's job descript. The job descript is out of alignment w/our bylaws as I had previously said on PT. A lot of the financial related duties aren't his responsibility per the current GM job descript. So who's responsibility is it now?

According to the by-laws the treasurer of the board is on the financial committee.THAT is the committee.

Sorry I wasn't more clear in my post....
When I say a lot of the GM's admin duties had been removed out of his job descript including financial duties...Per the previous GM's job descript, the following duties have been eliminated:
ie. No longer "plans, directs, evaluates general ledger, A/P, A/R, statements, reports, loan obligations, investments portfolio, insurance coverage, and any other financial matters." No longer "plans, directs or evaluates human resources mgmt, payroll, benefits, risk mgmt programs, policies and procedures maintenance; admin reports, forms and records mgmt."
And i.e....Our bylaws state: "Article IX-Officers, Sec 5 Treasurer (e) Obtain monthly financial reports from the GM including an income and expense statement which will be distributed to directors and made available to the members." This shows intent of the GM being more involved in these duties which is out of sync w/our bylaws.

There is a small group that think they are the committee. That is the group that went into the office.

Any one who reads this post or has had to endure sitting next to flyingsurfer knows you can't reason with him. He shows up stinking of B.O and booze, and when he speaks(oh excuse me.. when he yells and things fly out of his mouth) his face turns all red and veins pop out.Sorry, it may sound harsh but it is all accurate. Hi does not/can not understand the by-laws and has chosen to puppyly follow those who are breaking the law. Do not waste your valuable time on this useless creaton.

Ad hominem attacks are very uncharitable and do your cause no good. A better approach would be to document what is correct for all to see.
