Between going to meetings, reading BOD minutes and PT threads, I've been able to understand the main jest of what's going on. kalakoa's post is right on.

This is from Lori Laucik, HPP board president regarding the 9 Feb 2018 Special Board meeting. "Board Assignments" is the Agenda:
"When I emailed ***** to get the minutes from the January 29th meeting she informed me that there were no minutes because no meeting took place.
As I said before I do not believe that board assignments (whatever that means) is something that requires a special meeting and should be done at a regular session meeting. I also indicated last Friday that I am never available on Friday and since this is not something that has to be done before the next regular meeting, I will not be at this meeting.
I saw the email from Leslie that she had previous appointments and would not be able to attend the meeting.
After the members having to pay ***** for two hours for nothing on the 29th (January) because of an improperly scheduled meeting, please make sure there will be an actual meeting on the 9th and if it is not going to happen then whoever requested ***** should cancel her service before it is too late and the members end up paying her again for nothing.

This why I mentioned the thread is so confusing. Who's permission is being given, and who are *****, ***** or *****? If you're intimately involved in all the HPP shenanigans then I assume you know who these people are, but many of us don't. Most of what we hear is hearsay and have no evidence to make a judgment about what is true or not, or who even said it, or if it's just Chinese whispers.
Please don't assume people know what you do.

Mermaid - your post made it seemed you were giving permission. Again, it's the lack of being clear from the most active posters in this thread that make things confusing to everyone else.
You wrote that "reference is made to *****[...]" but how is anyone supposed to know what you mean by that? I assumed it was for the rest of your post, but how the hell am I supposed to figure that out?
Do you understand now how unclear things are to those of us who haven't the faintest idea about the people you keep mentioning, especially when it's all hearsay?
I'm all for Seeb's new HPP 2018 thread. Let's start again and post information there that doesn't require HPP residents or anyone else to have inside knowledge of what's happening here. Again, please stop assuming people know what you do. They don't. And then you and one or two others have a history of getting it completely wrong with Obie, so credibility is a real issue now.

Tom it looks like there's some personal issues going on between you, Obie and Mermaid. Why do you keep bringing Obie up in your posts? Please stop and take it somewhere else. Maybe you should get together with Mermaid and work it out.
I for one have no problems deciphering the information here. I can't make it to all the meetings and appreciate getting information from those that do. I wouldn't call this kind of information hearsay. I'm a long time resident of HPP too.

Rob - not sure who you are responding to. I'll never "out" someone, I just responded to Obie's post. We are now in touch with each other and someday soon we'll meet and I'll see what has happened where he lives.
Leo - I have no issues with Mermaid or Obie. I have issues with those that have no credibility and lie. There comes a point when I know people are making stuff up to suit their own position and I'll point that out when I have the time. Is that a problem for you?

Yes I do have a problem with that. This isn't the Obie show, it's HPP biz thread, at least it was the last time I looked. I've figured out Obie's agenda on anything HPP and if HPP is this person's obsession, so be it. It's getting too personal now and time to move on.
