.....something called “Do-It Fluid” today. Walked up to my wall and gave a spiel and brochure about how great and versatile this stuff was. Expected me to buy it right then, too. I said I like to research new products before I buy so he grabbed the brochure back from me and said I couldn’t keep it. Mmmmmmkay.......
Two African-American men, which I seldom ever see here in Hawaii.
Anyone else get a visit from these two?

Isn't there a licensing/registration requirement for door-to-door?

That’s a new one.
I never heard of the product either.
My dogs go nuts when someone they don’t know comes up to the gate.
Hope they can read the beware of dogs signs and stay away.

In addition to casing the joint, my thought was they are here on vacation and were supplementing thier spending money by selling this. Collect money, promise future delivery of something that never comes. By the time you realize you’ve been had, they’re long gone.

It looks like Do-It-Fluid is a concentrated cleaning product. Since it's not sold in the usual places it might be a multi-level marketing system. If you ever decide to buy this type of product, make sure the bottle they deliver to you is factory sealed. Some less scrupulous sales people demonstrate the full strength product for you (amazing, isn't it?) then sell you a bottle that's been diluted with water.

I did...just as the sun was setting last night. One person banged on our downstairs door. I walked out on the upstairs deck and said yes...and he looked up at me and said "you don't like black people.... do you!".... and then picked up his backpack and walked away before I could even answer him. He did have a bunch of pamphlets in his hand but I had no idea what he was selling. At first I thought it was one of those Jehovah Witnesses trying to convert me as he was clean and well dressed. But I've never seen them come around at night....
