Not having enough sodium is far worse that an excess
Point being, it's too easy to reach "excess" with processed food.

EW - just a suggestion, but if you are going to suggest experimental scientific studies prove something then you do not understand the scientific method.
"Eating Organic is proven to be much better for your health reducing cancer rates."
I don't know if this is proven, the paper doesn't say it's proven and claiming this was proof is bound to create replies you might not like, but I suspect you knew that. In the meantime, as I've said many times here, "proof" is for courts and mathematicians but certainly not scientific studies. I suspect you would get more sympathetic replies if you thought more carefully about your wording.

So, shouldn't you title the conversation with "In my opinion"?
What does this have to do with Puna?

Organic food is a real thing. Big Ag is a con.
Try reading labels sometime. Why is there 2 grams of sodium in a can of soup or chili? Unhealthy whether or not the food is "organic".
To replace that vital chemical lost through sweat and urine. Not having enough sodium is far worse that an excess unless you have hypertension.
Speaking Truth to Lies / Facts to Ignorance
Sodium is added to canned soup to replace sweat and urine? Are you sure you're not confusing things with Gatorade?
It's added for taste, but if you are correct, why don't sports teams give the athletes canned soup during the game?
I know that wasn't Hawaii-related, but some claims here are becoming ridiculous. Thanks for your earlier post, Chunkster, it was on the mark.
Im getting a sense that there is a lack of description and
defined definition here .. as usual. Lol. That said. ones beliefs (lola) and opinions shold still be tolerated .. not bullied .. BC they might understand urs either.

Could you clarify your comment on the lack of description and "defined definition"? The latter puts a difficult load on the English language but the former is hard to understand as the paper EW mentioned is available to all so no-one knows what description you are talking about.
Thanks.

Okay I get it.
Next time there is a study like this, and the results were broadcast on local and national TV... instead of saying, or titling:
"Eating organic food helps ward off cancer"
Instead of being excited about the study and trying to share the revelation...
I'll title it:
"New study showed eating organic food helps ward off cancer"
Would that do it for you?
For you nitpickers, cherry-pickers, stalkers, and bitter disbelievers?
I doubt it. I'm sure you will still do your negative reply posts.
Go ahead and brush it off and call my belief's foolish. Doesn't matter a smidgen to me paul. Millions of people are living and eating this way and enjoying macrobiotic benefits.
In no way am I removing your option to keep horking down your pizza-pockets.
Edited to add this:
So, shouldn't you title the conversation with "In my opinion"?
What does this have to do with Puna?
Um did you read the first sentence of my first post beginning all this? There's your answer.
And oh yeah Paul, not only to you continue to insult me you insult all people into macrobiotic diets and Zen Buddhism. Hmm who is really the fool?
