show me the money

https://www.hawaiitribune-herald.com/201...f-funding/

With this new grant, the state has now received $429 million in total federal disaster relief funding, $254 million of which has been directed to Hawaii County.

A quarter of a billion dollars and we're still "determining the need" with "studies" and "listening sessions".

Where has it gone? It sure hasn't been spent in Puna.

Don't be surprised if we soon discover that the flood damage outside of Puna is suddenly more worthy of disaster funds than our volcano ravaged district. Harry has been trying all along to find a way to share the "wealth" across as much of the island as he can. Obfuscation is a way of life with this guy. Also, if there's any way to parlay the funds into creating some new permanent county employees, he probably will.

Case in point: rebuilding roads in Kalapana.
