Besides humidity, dust, and salt, Samsung recently suggested you scan your TV every few weeks for viruses. The company posted this information on their Twitter feed, then without explanation deleted it. Do we or don’t we?

terracore, I mostly would want the newer x265 codec, since it would allow better resolution and more sub-channels for a given transmission. Would not be hooked up to wifi that's for sure!

ATSC v2, becoming obsolete before it can be rolled out

Excellent argument against a "smart" TV: everything is baked in, so when (for example) its version of ATSC is obsolete, you get to throw it all away and start over.
