Hotels/event rooms for conferences?

Any recommendations on Hilo hotels or other facilities with conference rooms? Would be looking to get 20-40 folks together for 1-2 days. A facility we could "take over" (completely or a floor/wing) would be ideal (making noise without disturbing other guests, etc).

Anyone attended a conference or "con" in Hilo? Good or bad points?

ETA: Puna too, not just Hilo.

randomq - both the Hilo Hawaiian and the Naniloa offer small and large conference facilities. I've been to meetings at the Naniloa since it became a Doubletree and they were just fine. I haven't been to one at the Hilo Hawaiian so can't make a recommendation for it.
