I knew a guy who got arrested for climbing a life guard tower in Oregon (at night, when there was no life guard).

I mean, he was cited and released, but he was still cuffed and shoved into the back of a car for awhile.

Tom's been trying to grind me into dust for what seems like forever. To the point of hilarity at times.

Let me provide a different perspective. Under a previous username, dakine, he asked how deep the TMT would build into the ground. I provided him with the drawings, and after a few days asked why he didn't say "thank you". I sort of knew he wouldn't do anything with them, and that's what happened.

After that, the "dakine" poster became unhinged, and lashed out with some interesting vitriol, including an attack on my now-deceased partner, Pam.

Afterward, he started using another identity and posed as an expert on volcanology, but got really upset after it was pointed out that he didn't know what he was talking about and misunderstood a paper on the plumbing beneath Mauna Kea and Kilauea. During this time he continued to say I was a janitor. A simple check would have disabused him of this but he didn't do it, I don't know why.

To MyManoa - I don't like frauds. I don't like liars and I really hate sock puppets. I particularly dislike people who pretend to be experts who don't know what they are talking about. I also don't like cowards who delete their posts because they were so disgusting that even the author deleted them and then pretended it had nothing to do with them.

I hope you understand that there is a reason that sensible, reasonable, and intelligent folk continue to post under their original username. It's because they stand behind what they say, unlike you.
