Deleted thread
#21
You've made something up. That's not proof. Own it. It's your own reasoning that has put you in this position.

Wow!  My opinion of you has plummeted considerably.  You deleted the thread with all of the posts within it.  Are you trying to claim you didn't start that thread?  Are you also claiming you didn't post what I said you did?

If so, you are not only a liar, you are a coward.

One more thing...in YOUR now deleted thread about deleted threads. Three of us were in that thread. Two of us didn't see an issue with an OP being able to delete their thread. YOU were the only one with a problem with an OP having that ability.

And finally, you've admitted that you don't like that someone can delete a thread with everyone else's posts deleted by someone else. Let me reiterate that:

"You deleted the thread with all of the posts within it."

You had no problem with that until it happened to you. Remember posting this?

"An O.P. should have the ability to delete a thread."

It seems you've finally got my point but only because it affected you.

So Chas, not to hijack this back to your original question or anything, but yes, when I see a deleted thread I wonder what it was, who posted it and why they took it down. But not for very long. So now that your question has been answered by at least one person you may want to delete this thread. Social media becomes performance art.
Certainty will be the death of us.

Why suggest deleting the thread? Is it because you don't like other people's opinions?

I haven't admitted that at all.  I stand by my original statement.  My issue is with you claiming I made something up.  Care to answer my questions that I posed to you?

Oh, I will, but why did you say a thread was deleted with all the posts within it? Why would you mention that if it's not a problem?

tom cad doing what he does best. Applying his own opinion ( misinterpreted meaning ) and flailing with insults to what he (misreads) when he called out. ..I believe this is partially because he doesn't have a basic, grounded, native level knowledge of common slang, modern quick abbreviated writing and may even be judgemental ( or at the minimum condescending ) to those here with english as a second language and gets fixated on the poster.

eta ..Just add a dash of tolerance Tom, you will go far. God bless

To Chas,

If you want to delete this thread, go to your first post and click the delete button. That will delete the entire thread.
I apologize to you for my part in the derailment. Someone is on a mission to try to show that an OP having the ability to delete a thread is a problem. This thread has turned into a trainwreck and actually is now a great example of why an OP should have the ability to delete a thread.
