Inspired by solar panels, researchers harvest energy from raindrops

It's a slightly technical article, but to sum it up, energy from raindrops may be possible.
Puna is perfectly situated for a hybrid solar/rain panel.

This looks promising HOTPE, but might be a bit too complicated for Puna, but on the other hand the amount of potential ways this could be protested does seem endless.

My first thought is that it would be protested here because it will affect the water table, even though it wouldn't.
