Well, that's a shame, I was hoping you could answer my question and, at the very least, discuss it. Unfortunately, there are some here who see a difference of opinion as being unfair to them and then start posting insults or asking for help and support from others.

ETA ..Dear Rob,

Kalianna is one of the best, new Gen posters here .. She has fun contributions, add ons, good points and questions that are succinct from her perspective, and never picks, nor gets nasty to others ..

And now look ..She naming two that are causing her to jump out. .. IMHO she is getting bullied by these people, along with one other prolific, full time poster. Again ..JMOz .. These few need to get a reminder about they behaviors once in while..Like you did with Tomk / Bodycheck. That was 100% appropriate and warrented..

IMO, the Quality and Positivity of PW postings will come back up as folks realize they can post here without getting bodychecked and microscoped by like a hyper little dog. Shoots maybe even the G.O.A.T. of PW, Carey will come back.

aloha and salamat

Well, that was an observation, but it turns out to be a prediction as well.

Good question Aaron!

But I'm sure the lack of self-awareness on the part of who she meant will be interesting!

They aced the ACT, arguably a bit easier to obtain than a perfect SAT.   Or at least this used to be the case.

Anyway, it seems inevitable that these kids will go to college out of state. I certainly hope so, for their sake.   Most likely they will decide not to return anytime soon.  It depends upon individual circumstances and perhaps a bit of luck/fate?  Friendships made in college tend to be stronger than those during younger years.  Also, graduate programs and job opportunities are typically much more attractive and lucrative on the mainland.  Strong ties to family and/or the aina could bring them back, sooner or later.

Which one is "the idiot

No one else considered kalianna might take the month to finally finish reading (go away) Dostoyevsky? His book The Idiot?

That could be. However, her prior use of the term “The Idiot” was very prolific in numerous threads, especially in a significant amount of the voluminous deleted threads.
