If you think it takes AI to look up a table of data and do some basic sums, then you are both overestimating "AI's" ability to do ad-hoc analysis and underestimating the capabilities of basic human intelligence. My posts have been data and link dense for a decade plus far before the current outbreak of LLMs... wait maybe I am an early AI prototype released into a quiet corner of the web where I wouldn't be discovered so I could learn the ways of the humans... or maybe, once upon a time, in a different life when I carried business cards, one of the titles said "Data Analyst" so doing basic statistics is a few minute task.
Like I said, people on Punaweb often have rich backgrounds with tons of domain knowledge and decades of experience. I've stuck my foot in my mouth too before, opining about lava and have been corrected by those with expertise in that domain. It happens, but if you're willing to keep an open mind and read a couple paragraphs on occasion you might learn something. Or not, results may vary and you only get out of it what you put in.
Definitely looks like you have plenty of time to spare at least - you're the last reply on almost all the recent threads! Maybe best to keep that body a little more busy!
