Actually, the rock wall that is at the end of Makuu is built on a lava outcropping. In other words, that piece of the rock wall is a natural feature So, good luck with tearing it down.

I actually DO SOMETHING. My family and I pay RESTRICTED road fee money, which should be used solely for roads to maintain them, to improve them to make them as SAFE AS POSSIBLE.

Clearly rock walls are the enemy and should be banned. Who really needs a rock wall? It's a monument to someone's vanity and clearly they are killing people. If it was a fence covered in lilikoi vines, it would provide the same privacy and be much more forgiving when innocent people forget to stop.
If we can't control unstoppable forces then I say down with immovable objects!
Then someone will eventually plow into your
house with their car. Mo betta?
I would not want to live at a corner where a vehicle could fail to make a required turn and go flying off into my property because it's only a matter of time before some dumbass will do it.

IF an association is all about hiring "professionals" (as in numerous lawyers) and using Road Fee Money to PAY for them, then there should be no problem in hiring a road ENGINEER who actually KNOWS what they are doing.

Itʻs not only the rock wall and the house that need to be removed. The ocean will also need to go. Very dangerous. We need to pass some laws against it.

How arrogant some of you are- as though you have never made mistakes? Or could? And because some of you are so "perfect" it is apparently easy for you to dismiss tragedy as "stupid" because the fatality was the result of what the police stated, was "an APPARENT result of excessive speed, alcohol, and not wearing a seatbelt."
What if the fatality had been a kid? Maybe a couple of kids? Maybe a carload of kids? Kids who aren't as "perfect" as some of you because they lack driving experience and sometimes common sense (though I have read plenty on here that seem to lack common sense).
What if the fatality was YOUR aunty, uncle, father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, nephew, niece, cousin, FRIEND. Would you still be so arrogant?

Not arguing at all. Just addressing the bad behaviors and misinformation of some on this forum.
And no one is twisting anyone's arm. Don't want to "go on and on?" Stop posting comments based on judgmental misinformation or worse dismissive snark.

I donʻt think she was on vacation (as indicated by a cross out on her name). I think she just had to cool it because she was running for HPP board. This is an end run around. Letʻs just leave her to herself on this. Bye bye Patricia.

Yup. My best friend from college died in a car crash because he did something stupid. He was actually an excellent driver when not making poor decisions.
