What is it? Where is it?

I have one, but it requires honesty and no image searching. I think it's relatively easy, but let me know if Barney should go first.

Well randomq, always being honest and since we can't use an image search, I admit I've seen this picture dozens of times since the 2018 lava flows but it's exact location eludes me.

I hope someone can guess it and then we can move on to another location to guess so those who can follow along can have some more fun!

Pohoiki Road, just past "3 corners" where the "Hot Dog Guy" used to setup and sell weed, I mean, hot dogs.

randomq,
Did leilanidude identify the correct location?

Let us know.
If so, then leilanidude or TomK, first come, first serve.

I didnʻt answer because it was so obvious (I think). End of Leilani Ave.?
Certainty will be the death of us.

It's been a while.. but hey.. if memory serves..

Back in the day, when we had a large Green Harvest program on island, the DEA had taken over the Rain Shed (a complex behind the park Headquarters that has a helipad) where they could land and then roll their bird under the shed’s roof as cover. The landing pad only had room for one, two in a pinch, birds, but they employed several a day, contracting with a handful of companies to fill out their force, and used that area to stage their joint operations, which was better than hauling sling loads of confiscated weed in the airspace of the park’s visitor center. So, they used the area in the pic as a more versatile, and private, staging area.

Oh, and, btw.. I was getting ready to post a pic.. but see Edge just now give that honor to some first come first served. So.. let me know..

was getting ready to post a pic.

Please post if you’re ready MyManao.  I believe it’s a good one.
Let’s all agree, no reverse image searches.  Let’s discover these hidden treasures by experience, intuition, and clues.

And ask the poster questions!

The end of Leilani Ave has tall trees all along it.
