Not sure you'd get the reaction you're envisioning in the Puna marketplace of ideas. Probably best be ready to get an earful, maybe even a mouthful, as some people's beliefs are not just words, but fully embodied and not constrained by your expectations of "civil discourse" or "proper decorum".

Speaking of the Puna marketplace of ideas, what if we got some printed in China King James Bibles, slap the name "Pele Bless the Hawaiian Bible" in gold leaf print on it, include the 1839 "Magna Charta" as well as the 1840 Hawaiian Constitution and also include the Hawaiʻi ponoʻī, then get some famous Puna person to stand in front of the Painted Church holding the bible upside down and hawk it on the YouTubes for say $59.99?

I am quite sure there would be no civil discourse in doing so and the public decorum would be of complete and total acceptance. I am also quite sure we would sell out in no time!

Jungle Love was selling "Pele is my homegurl" shirts years ago, before the 2018 eruption.

HJ/TK - I wish I had thought of that!

But hey, gotta fight for those God/goddess given rights, so make a shirt and a sign, hit the streets, and picket the roundabouts for what you believe in - be sure to let us know how it goes!

I think there's a big difference between doing that now and making the t-shirts back in 2018 when people were losing their homes. I don't think many would be interested now. I can also say that, even if I'd thought about it at the time and actually produced the t-shirts, it would certainly not have been for profit.

Why not try it and let us know what happens? It's not something I'd be interested in doing, but there's nothing stopping you.

Because every time you open your mouth you make a bigger fool of yourself.

God, and man’s beliefs in god, are two wholly different things. The fact that you can’t distinguish between the two is the problem in a nutshell. On a myriad of levels, it exemplifies just how much you can’t see, how much you don't know. Here, there, at work, and I imagine when you look in the mirror, you’re blind. But hey, you’re entitled to your beliefs just like everyone else is their's. You know nothing, as does everyone, but omg are you a true believer.

For instance, above you say..

No matter what we're dealing with gods and goddesses who seem quite evil according to what you posted. Hopefully you can now understand why I think your post is full of bullsh*t and ill-thought-out religious nonsense.

And I have to wonder.. of all that I referenced..

• P’tang beliefs.
• Pele
• Fruitarians

• Vegetarians
• Rasta
• The Church of One.

• Uncle Roberts guys
• Rob’s simple statement.

• Edge’s explanation of that statement
• The Testaments

• The Bhagavata
• Forbidden Archeology
• Jesus’ life
• Tom Wolfe's The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test
• Gary Zukav’s The Dancing Wo Li Masters and The Seat of The Soul…

What "seem quite evil” to you?

I suppose you suspect those Wo Li Masters of being up to something nefarious, especially when they dance, but what would I know? Hopefully you'll enlighten us.

I am still waiting for a reply, Tom.

I've already answered a couple of the major ones. Do you think I have the time to go through your list? If you want to make a claim, it's your responsibility to back it up. The P'tang thing is either your responses to punatang or Discworld, a piece of fiction, and I've already asked you about Pele, and you refuse to provide any evidence that she exists. The rest is just a list that you don't explain or provide context for; it's a well-known method of shifting the burden to others when you make a claim.

So let's just get through what's second in the list, the existence of Pele. Provide the evidence she exists. Looking forward, I don't think fruitarians or vegetarians count as religions, but it's interesting you put them in there. Why not confuse the issue and just put anything you think of in the list, right?

Punatang - Something tells me that Olohana husbands goats.

Think he was pegging you and your kine actually - concerns over the integrity of your DNA and that having an impact on your cognition - something about low educated god duped babyhuey chicken fakas being conned by 89 IQ leaders IIRC which seemed to be plenty Puna and Punaweb related, praise be. If you et al had seen the whole message you would have to recognize it for actually being GOATed.

Stop deflecting. Answer the question.
