DOGE in Hawaii - 19,042 Ballot Mystery On Big Island
#1
We Tangs hope you all are staying safe and dry as we are getting monkey-hammered by this storm.  What a Friday the 13th!

Trying to make heads or tails of some of the motions that passed during the 3/11/26 Elections Commission meeting, I've been researching in the far corners of the internet.

Since we are all stuck at home, I thought I would share some entertainment that I came across.  While I have no idea what the Hawaii based creator is trying to convey with most of this Hawaii-centered animation, I intend to unravel it over time.  Meanwhile, the animation is, on it's own merits, visually interesting, the music is moving and the island vibes pulse throughout.

If you enjoy it, that is awesome.  If you don't, please just scroll on by and stay safe and dry.

Aloha,
Tang

It makes sense that so much debunked bullshit would be wrapped in a cartoon, for consumption by the dim witted and ill informed.

I'd have to say Tang that the only thing you are missing for a perfect trifecta here, with the Election Commission meetings and your "Hawaii" story you found "in the far corners of the internet" would be BJ Penn.

He'd fit in perfectly for ya! And he is 100% Hawaii related, no argument there! I'm sure you would not even have to go to a dark corner to find him!

When television was introduced to the general public it was predicted that it would become a source of information and education for all, from the comfort of their living room sofa.  We would become a nation  of armchair professors.  Instead we got My Mother The Car, and Petticoat Junction.

Looks like AI might follow suit, but with the advanced technology to make the bottom even deeper and crappier.

Instead we got Twitter and Facebook, and our identifies bought and sold, elections rigged, and every facet of life weaponized for some asshole's agenda.. so much so that we're raising generations of idiots.

Seriously, if Puna is a ghetto today, what's it going to be when those who are growing up relying on their phones can't get any meaningful employment because AI took all the jobs, and they're too dumb to do anymore than listen to influencers?

so much debunked bullshit - RandomQ

That seemed pretty obvious. Thank you.  Please share the details.  It is a lot to unravel.   Please brighten our collective wit and inform us regarding exactly what has been debunked and where one may access the debunkage (links of studies, rulings, etc.).  Thanks in advance for your help.

Aloha,

Tang

You can easily research all of the debunked stuff by staying as far away from "the far corners of the internet."

"the far corners of the internet."

The far corner, old school, was where teacher sent misbehaving or inattentive students who admittedly were often highly skilled in the arts of spitball, armpit farts, or sketched caricatures of teacher utilizing the technique of primitivism.  In the corner they wouldn’t distract other students from learning words and numbers.  The far corner did offer several amenities, a wooden stool, a pointy dunce hat, and as it was a corner, a choice of two beige walls to stare at.

Unfortunately in those days there were no job openings for those adept in rolling and shooting spitballs from their dismantled ball point pen, after they dropped out of school. Life was even more unfair then than it is now.

With the advent of YouTube and TikTok the keiki and grandkeiki of those formerly frowned upon and persecuted souls (who were simply far ahead of their time) can ply the very same skills to an audience of hundreds, thousands, even millions and monetize whatever possible from the like minded.  Even adding animation with no skills required.  Spell check and predictive text will fix those prompts so you get the cute cartoon turtle you wanted, and not a turdle.

Those in the far corner haven’t changed much.  Except now they have WiFi and an internet connection.

... and a willing audience to respond to their trolling, without which they would just go away.
Certainty will be the death of us.
