all due respect Tang, I did not know Stephen Colbert had anything to do with Hawaii

My dermatologist in Hilo lived next door (or nearby) to the Colbert family when he was growing up. He said they were all (and it’s a big family) the nicest people you’d ever want to meet.  The best neighbors you could ever hope for.

Indeed. I've heard about this, but I wasn't positive it had reached The Big Island until your post.  Thanks for the heads up (no pun intended).  It sounds like the dreaded PCPD (Post Colbert Parrot Disorder) also known as Colbert Migration Meltdown (CMM).  Entire flocks zig-zagging and circling aimlessly not knowing  what the “correct” direction is or what to mimic.  Well, at least you're funny.

Funny, but sadly, accurate.

What I find very unfunny, yet sadly, very accurate, are those who think talking Colbert "off the air" is a good thing.

Talk about bird brains. Just wow.

If a show doesn't make money it doesn't last. It was his content. Maybe he should not have alienated half the country and drove advertisers and sponsors away with his rants. He did it to himself and it is a shame that those who worked on the show as producers, writers, etc. have now lost good paying jobs because of him.
