Thanks. I got Sarah Steiner. What on earth is wrong with naming someone with such a record? It also came up that she has stage 2 melanoma (with a go fund me account) , so perhaps too preoccupied with that now for more lawsuits.
In as much as you may have no issue naming her, Rob has asked that not be done as mentioned here when the discussion was about a lawyer with a questionable background.
But, as we have seen recently, you could give a crap about Rob's rules or how PunaWeb is managed.
As for the Hawaii District 4 election, voters have 3 choices:
Tam (as Democrat)
Greggor (as Democrat)
Zak Wittenhagen (as Republican)
So, as I see it, the District 4 voter has a choice of the status quo, a republican, or Tam. I hope the District 4 voter chooses wisely.

And, what, pray tell, would be wise about selecting a young upshot that has zero experience working within the political system in which he would have to operate in order to get anything done?
If I were voting to express ideals without any hope for actual bacon being brought home, but rather to enjoy watching a young inexperienced rabble rouser being ground to a pulp as an exercise in futility.. I'd go with the latest Medium/AI sensation.
If I was hoping to get better infrastructure, a continued transition to renewable energy resources, and our share of the legislative pie, I'd certainly vote for Greggor.
I'd never vote for a Republican.
And I will bet the lion's share of the district's voters, the folks that pay the mortgages, feel similarly.
As to the noisy OMG the sky is going to fall, and geothermal fracking caused the 2018 eruption, crowd.. let's just hope they never run out of tinfoil.

What, pray tell, has Greggor done to give Puna better infrastructure? Continued transitions to renewable energy? What piece of the legislative pie has Greggor brought to Puna?
Outside of studies and failed boat launch, that was doomed to fail before it even started?
And one more thing. Since you apparently feel Greggor is the greatest thing for Puna since sliced bread, remember when he was a young upshot with zero experience?
Greggor Ilagan is a career politician. As far as I can tell, the only real job he ever had was the National Guard, and while honorable, that is part time.

Gee, that's your interpretation of my words?
That's nonsense. All I said is Greggor is the best choice of the three.. and combined they set a very low bar. Which, I'll agree, is on par with the quality of bread readily available in Hawaii.
What Greggor does have is an investment in working together with his legislative colleagues.. which is the first step towards being able to get anything done in the capital. And, a fairly wide variety of supporters..

I have plenty of wherewithal. Note that I have not issued personal insults over your opinion? But you feel just fine and dandy insulting anyone who disagrees with you.
That's YOUR wherewithall.
ETA: Your link to Greggor's campaign page shows 105 supporters. Tam's Medium Blog shows 840 followers.

During Greggor's first campaign for County Council, I was impressed with his connecting to groups and going to all sorts of events. He sought out the VFW in Pahoa, came, introduced himself and listened to what the members had to say. He did similar at The Eagles, etc. I was also surprised when he saw me at Malama Market weeks later, that he remembered my name and what we had talked about. Impressive.

So much for your reading comprehension. He asked for people not to make negative comments in that link. Identifying someone who has a history of lawsuits against PGV is obviously not a negative comment. Berating them for doing so would be.
Tom was banned from posting here. He was not banned from communicating with me, so if I choose to share what he has to say about the place he has worked for decades then that's my business, and if Rob for some unfathomable reason agrees with your bizarre take then he can ban me too.
Hunt's most recent column is a worthy read. https://tamhunt.medium.com/what-to-do-ab...24486d6d9f
It's about the cost of electricity generation on island, and our vulnerabilities due to reliance on S. Korean oil products.
I don't agree with his first suggestion about what to do: "1. Publish the inventory data. Weekly. By island. By product."
This could cause undue concerns and perhaps set off people with tendencies for hoarding to get busy.
