Sorry! I forgot not everyone is familiar with LFLs/Little Free Library, so thank you for posting the link!

They are a fantastic organization. They have a great online app with a map that you can search the entire world and find registered LFLs everywhere, even Antarctica (seriously!)

Any time I'm traveling to the mainland I try to seek out new LFLs. There's so much creativity out there, and every one is different. I would love to see more of them here in HI. I believe there are maybe only a dozen total on Big Island.

I have found bananas 1 1/2 pounds for $2.00.  Great price.
Mei’s Produce in Keaau near the propane place has papaya 3 for $5 which works for now.  Until our new planting comes in.

We were talking about LFLs...as in LITTLE FREE LIBRARIES. A very very beneficial and benevolent GOOD thing.

Not LFAs, as in LITTLE FIRE ANTS, which are in no way, shape, or form a benevolent or beneficial thing *ANYWHERE*.

The Emily Litella video did explain the disconnect and was hilariously appreciated, but still, my head asploded (as the kids say) that the difference between benevolent LFL's could ever be conflated to mean LFAs!

Unless, sadly, one's LFL could somehow attract LFAs? Or termites, boring beetles, or somesuch other what-nasties...
