Tam Hunt - PGV Statement

Linda Lingle's... Lol! brother 'tang.. I think there's some funny stuff in your water.. or maybe you got a hold of some fresh.. potent.. da kine..

We all knew.. long before Neil sang.. look at Mother Nature on the run in the nineteen seventies... no need some wahine decades later tell us to beware.. and all the blue pills, or red pills.. or any kine pills you like eat ain't gonna make some whack job republican into a hero..

And besides.. the state's alternative energy programs were set in motion long before Linda came along. It was during the Carter administration, in the '70s brah, when he get on the tv and tell Americans maybe the best way to go is use less.. and we, Hawaii, got to thinking all kind ways we could take advantage.. green energy and all that. OTEC, geothermal.. we've been thinking along those lines a long time already brother 'Tang.

But no.. you like rewrite history to say da wahine done 'em all. Sheesh she was gonna redo da schools.. never happened.. expand and diversify the economy.. never happened, get rid of cronyism in government.. and still today they're talking like that.. want to have a special session and all that kine stuff. Linda came in to office with a budget surplus.. and just like every repug in the history of the party on all levels of government.. she left in debt..

And.. about Jimmy.. funny part how that little ol' peanut farmer had effects your kind no like. What, with your guys October surprises and deals with Iranians to keep Americans hostages, just to unseat him is the quintessential example of just how you all like to roll. Like play.. but hey.. snap a few fingers and da wahine's a hero, eh?

So sorry.. Linda don't pass the smell test.. would you like to try again?

It is astonishing how much nonsense people will say when they know so little about historical facts.

Why it took a Republican Governor to Get Blue Hawaii On The Path to Green Energy

By Eric Pape
Why It Took A Republican Governor To Get Blue Hawaii On The Path To Clean Energy

"Inouye was one of the most influential Democrats in the country and certainly Hawaii’s most famous political figure. Alm, who had worked as an aide to the senator, was as surprised as anyone to see him.
“My people told me not to do this,” Alm recalls Inouye telling him. They were concerned that his presence would suggest a closeness with the Republican Lingle that wouldn’t look good just two weeks before the 2008 presidential election in which Democrat Barack Obama was in a tight race against Republican John McCain.
But Inouye believed the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative was more significant than electoral politics or partisan sniping, according to Alm.
Inouye believed Hawaii’s dependence on foreign oil supplies was an economic, financial and military security risk not only for the islands but for the whole country.
“He said, ‘It didn’t matter. I don’t care if it makes her look good. That was a really important deal to sign,’” Alm said.
“And of course, he was on the front page the next day.”"
