SCUBA NIGHT DIVE
#1
A few of us were yakking and the idea of a scuba night dive came up. We are contacting LOBO DEL MAR, dive operators here on the Hilo side. They will be able to take a max of 8 divers, so it will be first cvome first served, and I will post the cost once I know it. Just a heads up... we are talking about a week night, possibly this week or next. If interested, email pslamont@yahoo.com.

Aloha.

It is LOBSTER season, right????

If you think health care is expensive now, wait until you see what it cost when it’s free...now here come the taxes.....

Hey Pam.

Sorry I didn't make it Sunday. I was feeling a bit under the weather.

When are you planning the night dive. I would rather it be free - i.e. a shore dive rather than a boat dive BUT lobster sounds GOOOOD!!!!!

Thursday Night. Lobster hunt then BBQ. Hozabout Laupahoehoe?

Meet at 5-6PM. Gear up. Dive. Catch the spiny critters. BBQ em. Chow down?

What say ye all?

I too am in favor of a shore dive, since I free dive only. Week days are fine w/ me also.

There's a boat ramp where you can slither in...so that part's easy. However it's often ridiculously slippery. Please be careful, yah?

In addition, there can also be some hellacious currents along that stretch depending on what the weather and tides have been doing. Not to deter you or anything...just be smart.

Thursday is great for me however I certainly don't want to get swept away in any "hellacious currents" so perhaps there is a better spot. Any suggestions?
