I'm miss the person named Pohaku. This person was anything but fluff, he or she told it like it really is. Does anybody know where this person has gone? I miss this persons truthful insights in Puna life. Does anybody else feel the same way as me with Pohaku?

As I have lived in HPP for 14-16 years. My two cents on this?
I can tell you where Pohaku was- this full moon night.
Ritually there are sometimes, full moon "parties" or get togethers, bon-fires, drumming circles, and used to do sweat lodges.
Tonight as the moon rose over his - aw gee, it was awesome.
"Pohaku" has more varied knowledge of Puna- a lot of things you will not have the priveledge of knowing because, ROB kicked him off. A lot of you new and coming or wanna be "punatics" (more than the 8x10 glossy- Rob is trying to sell.
{If he posts this I'll be very surprised as Pohaku has told me himself that he been sensored many times be th "ROB-web"
When I ask Pohaku why he doesn't go back, He replies ,[hello, his brother is into computer security in Silicon Valley] He says " F*** that Rob F***er. H ehas his flock of sheep.. I Pau.
Too bad for you, bloggers/webbers? Wanna be punatics, Rob, Robbed you of some real genius.[  ]

I agree with you mei. Dude always took off the gloves with his responses. Why Rob would ban him is beyond me?
Recently I myself had the pleasure of having a thread removed because I voiced my disdain for Micronesians..as if they can even turn on a computer, let alone own one!
Hey, bottomline is Rob is God here so we must play by his rules, or don't play at all. I just wish he'd be more open to the truth no matter who it hurts!

I'm sorry you are so unhappy. One fact is that it is impossible to please everyone all the time. Just the way it is. Another fact is that this site operates without income and I simply do not have time in the day to deal with repeated problems from any one person day after day after day. In the history of Punaweb and 1,200 registered members two have been removed.
If Punaweb is so tortuous and burdensome on your sense of freedom and spirit you, by all means, ought to launch your own forum and operate it in the manner you think best.

I don't miss him much. Whenever I meet someone who claims to have been everywhere, done and knows everything, and never bull****s; I take it with a grain of salt.
Just like another former blogger who always "walks the walk" there seems to be issues of self confidence. People who really have all those "qualities" don't have to try so hard to convince us "sheep".

Racism-a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority (or inferiority) of a particular race .
Beachboy, you have many valid opinions, and can believe whatever you want. I know some micronesians that fit your mold. I also know some micronesians that are wonderful individuals.
I believe that when two cultures meet, a third culture results. We can facilitate change, or build walls.....

Welcome to the forum, Jack. I have pretty thick skin, so no offense taken. I've been scolded by Rob in the past, but value this forum too much to push things.
Like a conversation, or a tide, opinions and information here should ebb and flow.
I welcome everyones participation. I just don't give much credibility to those who's information flows one way, and seem closed to other ideas.
