Rachelle Ley emailed me re: wanting people to apply for the action committee. I'm sure other's have received the same emails. Presently, plans are to meet during the day. Although, that might change when the Advisory Committee is selected and make their own schedule.
Does anyone know who has applied? etc. We really need to keep this effort moving forward.

I am curious too. No one I know has indicated they have applied for this volunteer committee. It could be that a lack of detail, which I have requested regarding the committee, is keeping people from making decisions.
Assume the best and ask questions.

I might be interested, but I need to know more about the time needed.

I did volunteer.
For my neighbors who be hesitant, I'll employ a tried and true means of encouragement: Fear (and loathing?).
Can we dare to imagine the 'dark forces' who opposed PCDP from Day 1, and right through to Second Reading at Council, will have joined the converted? No. However, they will volunteer to join the Action Committee.
btw:
At least to be able to make an informed decision, have a look at the application. Let me know what you think, please.

Sorry, Damon.
I'd never tried being a fearmonger and didn't do it well.

Rachelle's email to me said daytime meetings, but that could change once the Advisory Comm. was established because they could choose their own meeting times.
Let's look at this as another opportunity for understanding and consensus.
I'm heartened that you applied, James. You're a solid thinker... breath of fresh air on the trades blowing through.
Perhaps in this continuing effort, Bill Walter's 'Kimo' will stop using the word haole as a perjorative. Since haole means 'no breath', maybe we breathe in each others face and get it over with.
This kama'aina has seen extraordinary movement community wise, in the past few years. PULEEZE be a thinking advocate for Puna... whether we are on this Advisory Committee, or not, we must attend these meetings and keep informed.
