I agree. We used Barbara Franklin, and the work she and her employees do is far superior to the others we were looking at and it showed in our court appearance. She is worth every penney she charges, and her fees are higher than some of the others we interviewed, but you get what you pay for. We are about 1.5 years after our bankruptcy now and doing ok, but the stress going through that nightmare just about did us in. Best wishes to your daughter.

There is no requirement to use a lawyer. DIY, it's not that complicated. They will go over it with you and then you just fill in what applies to your situation.

Get help from attorneys, law students, and others volunteers who contribute pro bono services with: Family law, Bankruptcy, Housing, Immigration, Civil Matters. Programs DO NOT accept any personal injury or for monetary award cases (fee generating).

Good attorney in what means ? There are lots of attorneys that offer quality services, on a low cost. But a good attorney always claim for settlement in a very short time period with maximum compensation.

You can contact many good attorneys in the state. Some of the attorney firms provides good advice and also if they cannot provide they will refer you to other new firms and good attorneys.

Why not explore ways to avoid bankruptcy and live up to meeting your obligations that you precipitated San Francisco Bankruptcy Attorney instead of fleecing those who had faith in you . Then you Oakland Bankruptcy Attorney wouldn't have to worry about what the Bankruptcy lawyer would overcharge you.

We are starting to get some interesting spam these days! I hope everyone is savy enough NOT to click on links from these one post wonders!

I would even caution clicking on a link even from an over-the top poster like myself, unless you are confident in the link & the fact that it is accurately referenced, and the link can be checked out prior to clicking... which is why I do not use shortened click links...

I do know that Rob can remove this thread of the OP requests, and can/will remove odd spam as it happens...but just wanted to post this reminder to not click on links that do not seem to fit the post...as above...

Note that bankruptcy will only fully discharge (eligible, meaning no student loans or civil judgements) debts if your income is below the median, otherwise you will probably really want that attorney.

I hate to say it, but: if you don't want it on the internet, don't put it on the internet.

Here's an actual example for those who don't grasp the concept:
