Students translate subject from 3-dimensions onto a 2-dimensional plane. Drawing exercises explore negative space, contour line, sighting proportion and perspective, and rendering light and shadow. Covered techniques include acrylic basic color mixing, color value, including glazing, building textures, and how to make form and ground move forward and recede on the picture plane.
