There’s a larger number of Air Force flights in the sky tonight around the US, including Hawaii, after it was announced the President has COVID-19. One source says more flights but no change in the DEFCON level, another said we’re at DEFCON 2.
From Tim Hogan in Honolulu:
E-6B Mercury off the east coast near DC. I looked because I would expect them to pop up if he tests positive. It's a message to the small group of adversaries with SLBMs and ICBMs.

And from another:
The USAF STRATCOM E-6B Mercury fleet has gone to Defcon 2.
(Sorry, no link)
The USAF STRATCOM E-6B Mercury‘s have either landed or turned off their transponders. They are airborne nuclear weapon control centers. Here’s a tracking site if you’re up tonight, air traffic around Hawaii is fairly light at the moment.

Military flights are noted as MLAT. Now that the message has been sent to adversaries, Air Force flight patterns may be back to normal.
