ghost ant
#1
We have ghost ants now.

Anybody have experience with these ants?  They are in our vehicles and sometimes we see them in the house.  They seem harmless but are definitely a nuisance.  Any chance they can displace LFA?

They are similar in size to LFA but move 10x faster and have pale abdomens making them hard to see.

I think I've seen those here. Moving faster than LFA was enough to show me that they were different so I didn't examine them any further.

I heard that the little black ants that are about 3 times the size of LFA will get rid of them. I have had plenty of the black ones here for a couple of years and guess what? No LFA.

Any ant that gets rid of LFA is fine by me.

We have the black and the ghost ants in the same area. They are in the areas where we had previously treated for LFA.

Maybe they're teaming up, working together?

I'm fine with that too.
