We have our permit!
#1
We will go order materials tomorrow. Should have them within 2 weeks I hope. We will start building as soon as we get them. We will frame the shear wall foundations and place the piers and then call for inspection. And then we will be working 6 days a week to get the house shell complete and roof on, rought plumbing and wiring, septic in and catchment in. So if anyone wants to come watch or even be involved in the building process, please let me know so I can keep you informed of our start date. Our son is coming to be help build also. It is great to be at this point and we are ready to get going. Our lots are ready to go.

Love to here all the details especially who you are doing bussiness with and how things come together. We pray for your sweet success and are only sorry to say we aren't there to stop by and offer a lending hand. Enjoy your Happy New Year!

Nancy what super news. This will be a great thread if you don't mind sharing as you go along.

May I ask when your plans were submitted and how long they were in the county for review?

Think back a year ago, who could have guessed you'd be this far along!

Congratulations and what a Hauoli Makahiki Hou you are entering!!!
