Well, I better correct my previous post quick! I just thought he was doing my gardening work! After meeting several times and finally agreeing on everything, he kept putting the project off to "next week" and "next week" again, and he finally just sent me an e-mail yesterday that he is not interested in doing the job. I lost a month and I am back looking for a gardener! John, welcome to The Peoples Republic of Hawaii!

Well, I called Mr. Botz and talked with his wife. She said he will call me back. That was five days ago. I guess I am back searching. It's frustrating, I called 10 gardeners who advertise in the Tribune on Friday but only one called back. Business must ne good on the East side.

I just talked to a previous client of mine who's quite the gardener. Depending on the extent of the work you want done, he might consider it (he can't do major earth-moving etc). What kind of work is it? He's a good guy who just moved here (to HPP) and wouldn't mind some part-time work. He teaches me about plants, different pest control methods and how to handle weed issues, so he's got some good knowledge.

There will be a big plant sale at the Edith Kanakaole stadium on March 3, 4 & 5th so you may want to see if there are landscapers there. If anything else, it is a great place to get plants.
