Community planning web sites for ideas

I have seen this development and a few others like it in Oregon, people are trying to work around the necessity of autos, freeways, and such. Lots of ideas. At least on this board people are very conscious that something needs to be done now, see the big picture, and want to be active instead of reactive in the solutions, and prevent future headaches.

Building communities, villages, and conscious development keeping sprawl and freeways at bay.
